Henri GALLOIS , French conductor, born in Algeria, is wide open to cultures of the world.
Many international scenes has turned to him: Geneva, Paris, Saarbrücken, Palermo, Beirut, Damascus, Rabat, Romania, Poland, ...
He accompanied prestigious soloists (includind Monserrat Caballé).
From Bach to Britten, he goes into various musical repertoires, from symphonic works to operas.
Many of his recording have been published and awarded, in particular the recording of Philémon and Baucis - Gounod, which won the Grand Prix de l'Académie Charles d'or - Diapason d'or.
Henri Gallois is also strongly commited to educational programs promoting access of young people (musicians or not) to music.
